We had a great turn out for the annual Bedford Cup on Sunday 17th September. With 11 ladies and 9 men on 4 courts it was an organisational feat for our Chairman, but Ruth pulled it out of the bag. We played 7 or 8 mini doubles matches (4 games) with a different partner and opponents each time (as far as possible!) and recorded our own scores. The winners were Dave Izzard for the men and Julie Phillipson for the ladies who were presented with the cup. We then enjoyed a barbecue lunch and cakes in the sunshine.
