Our Club Finals Day on Sunday 7th July saw some nail-biting matches being played from our youngest red ball players to our experienced club stalwarts. Our plate finals, for those who went out in the first round, and of course our cup finals for ladies' and men's singles and doubles and mixed doubles all demonstrated a very high standard of tennis and great sportsmanship. Played out under the beating sun, players and spectators alike earned their BBQ lunch, home-made cakes and delicious local cherries. Thank you to everyone who played, supported, baked, cooked, and tidied up, but especially to Andrew Wells who organised a great tournament once again. Well done to all our finalists; winners and runners-up.
